Job Description:

Safety Management

Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and programs
Conduct regular safety audits and inspections of facilities and operations
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, preparing detailed reports and recommendations
Lead safety training programs for all employees and contractors
Monitor compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements
Maintain safety documentation and records
Perform risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies

Environmental Management

Oversee environmental compliance programs and permits
Monitor and report on environmental performance metrics
Manage waste disposal and recycling programs
Coordinate environmental impact assessments
Develop and implement spill prevention and response plans
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards
Lead environmental awareness training programs

Emergency Response

Develop and maintain emergency response plans
Coordinate with emergency response teams
Conduct emergency drills and exercises
Maintain emergency response equipment and supplies
Liaise with local emergency services and authorities

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Health and Safety, Engineering, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in safety and environmental management, preferably in oil and gas industry
Professional certifications such as CSP, CHMM, or equivalent
Thorough knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and industry regulations
Strong understanding of HSE management systems
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and HSE management software
